Easter is just around the corner and Pinterest overfloweth with ideas for decorating eggs.

It was too hard to choose just a few!

A Little Pink Fix - Etsy Spotlight Edition

It's Friday night and I have been hard at work browsing page after page
of lovely vintage and handmade items on Etsy.

I've been in the trenches, I tell you!

I managed to narrow down my favorites for this edition of
A Little Pink Fix

Links are provided under each picture.

Ideas and Inspiration - St. Patrick's Day

  Nope, I'm not Irish,
but I do love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
I usually cook something special at home,
set the table with my vintage forest green Anchor Hocking glassware,
and wear something green so I don't get pinched
Last year I made corned beef brisket.
It was delish.
This year I'm going to try making Irish stew.
Looks pretty darn tasty doesn't it.
You can get the recipe here.

You have to have green beer on St. Patty's Day
(even if, like me, you only have a sip or two)
And a proper toast for the occasion:

"Saint Patrick was a gentleman,
Who through strategy and stealth,
Drove all the snakes from Ireland,
Here's a toasting to his health.
But not too many toastings
Lest you lose yourself and then
Forget the good Saint Patrick
And see all those snakes again."

And a few of my favorite emerald images from Pinterest in honor of the Emerald Isle.

Fluff and Stuff

I managed to get some fresh inventory to the shop this week:
Easter items, dishware, glassware, a few linens, and the Kiss Kiss line.

I also picked lots of pretty vintage linens this week (sheets, tablecloths, napkins, pillowcases) and a few pieces of vintage lingerie that still need some prep before heading to the shop.
Guess who is going to be busy all weekend washing, drying, folding, and pressing all of these lovely items?
(Help Wanted - lol!)

Here are some pics of this week's fluff and stuff.

It is a beautiful day here in Alabama.
(and we don't get many of those here lately).
I believe I'll go outside and enjoy the sunshine before I get started on that laundry :)

Have a great weekend, friends!

Much love,
