Happy New Year!

After an extended break from blogland I have returned!

Did you miss me? I certainly missed you.

Things were busy busy busy around here throughout the holidays. My wonderful Goddaughter, Maya, spent the week between Christmas and New Year's with us. She's a mini version of her mother, my VBFF :), so we hang out, chat and shop like champs. It was a great week!

I have spent the New Year thus far cleaning and de-cluttering my house. I am talking WOW at the clutter! It amazes me how much random stuff I have accumulated. I am always thrifting and junkin' which doesn't help...and yes, it is an addiction, albeit a justified (and really fun!) addiction...I must add new stock to my little antique shop, no? Problem is things must first come home before (maybe) going to my little shop. I come across some really cool stuff ya know (like the two killer rattan end tables that look fabulous in my living room that I paid $5.99 and $7.99 for each...seriously!),

I thought I would leave you with some pictures of things I love (and love to look for while out on my buying adventures). These are the kind of items you will find in my shop (and in my garage, dining room and office waiting to get to my shop :)  All pictures are courtesy of pinterest (my other addiction). Enjoy!

  4. Hello Devine Salvage and welcome to my blog! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thank you so very, very much for the share! I checked out your blog as well. You have some really cool items. Do you sell in a brick and mortar store as well or just online? I've had an etsy account for two years now, but have yet to set my shop up online, but I do sell out of Trussville Antiques and Interiors (Trussville is a suburb of Birmingham). Excited to meet another Bama blogger! Take care and best of luck in your adventure!

  6. No I don't have a brick and Mortar store. My Daddy has several booths in Cotton and Highlands in Dothan, AL. I used to only sell for him and then I got very sick. Fully recovered and gonna use you for inspiration to get back on my blog

    1. Hi there and thank you! I traced the picture back to it's original post on a Flickr account, but no details on the paint color were given. I would try printing off a picture and taking it to your local paint sellers. They can usually match a color for you.
